DEADLINE FOR GRANTS FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS
Deadline for the first round of applications for GRANTS FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS from the Alaska Energy Authority. The Authority is seeking to recommend projects based on applications that clearly demonstrate a public benefit from the proposed project. It is understood that some projects may be ready to proceed immediately and others will require more work to develop.

The Highway to Highway project, as originally conceived, would build a physical link from the Glenn highway to the Seward highway. ACE thinks that the project should focus on commuter rail, pedestrian, and bicycle features so that our transportation infrastructure can take us to 2050, not back to 1950.
