Specifically we:

• actively participated in the Recycling Task Force with the Municipality of Anchorage. This Task Force was built upon the actions and ideas generated at the Recycling Summit held in March 1997;

• provide a Guide to Recycling in Anchorage to educate people about existing recycling opportunities;

• maintain this website of information about Citizens for Recycling Solutions, recycling in Anchorage, as well as general information on reducing, reusing and recycling;

• promote local opportunities for remanufacturing, thus, creating jobs by making new products from old;

• and work through grassroots action to keep the need for recycling solutions in the forefront of Anchorage issues.
