  • Crushed glass can be used for: road or bike trail surface construction, sand blasting, soil conditioner, septic filtration, erosion control, construction fill
  • Reusing crushed glass to make new glass is less expensive and more energy efficient than converting silica sand into glass.
  • Glass can be reprocessed indefinitely.
Lightbulbs
  • Purchase energy efficient, longlasting lightbulbs.
  • Incandescent Lightbulbs can be used for crafts and other decorative projects.
  • Fluorescent and sodium halide batteries need to be disposed of properly!
  • No household light bulbs
    or florescent lighting can be recycled with glass.
  • However, lightbulbs that are burnt and unbroken can be donated for re-use in craft projects.
