Use the smallest size box possible for what you are shipping.
Use plastic reusable totes to transport items. |
Reuse boxes for storage, mailing, moving etc.
Keep some around to store your recyclable items. |
Corrugated cardboard (with the inner waffled layer) - Remove contents, pull off tape, and flatten.
Brown (kraft) paper bags can be included but paperboard (i.e. cereal boxes etc.) cannot.

Paper fibers in corrugated boxes are long and strong. They can be used many times.
Making the pulp used in cardboard creates sulfur dioxide, a gas that causes acid rain. Recycling cardboard cuts that pollution in half. |
