- Use for boat bumpers.

- Reuse those lawn tractor, trailer, motorcycle and bicycle innertubes for toys and games.

- Check with retailers that recycle your unusable tires.

- Eight-ten tires fill one cubic yard of landfill space.
- Approx. 200,000 tires enter the MOA landfill annually. (approx. 22,000 cu. yds)
- Tires can be chipped for fuel, backfill, roadbeds, thermo barriers, septic filtration systems, bike trails, running tracks and playgrounds.
- In 1996 Alaska Tire Recycling, Inc. diverted approx. 36,000 tires (4,000 cubic yards) from entering the MOA landfill.
